I bought this to wear at my wedding almost 2 years ago and still love it! Here are my pros and cons:Pros: color matching wasn’t as hard as I thought, it has the clips to secure so it doesn’t go anywhere, styling is easy to do, I don’t get a headache wearing it.Cons: it does have the shiny-ness of artificial hair so keep that in mind if you’re in day 4 dry shampooed hair, the band in the back is quite thick so your head can get very hot, you will see the piece in the back if you split your hair down the middle to wear in front (especially if your hair is naturally thin).Tips: I bought a blonde one that needed purple shampooed - DO NOT PUT PURPLE SHAMPOO DIRECTLY ON THE HAIR. It soaks it up and turns purple immediately then it won’t come out. Do a purple bath instead; fill a sink with water and purple shampoo until you get purple water, the dip the hair in and out until you’ve reached the desired tone.Also, use a low heat setting (nothing over 350) to increase longevity and prevent the burned hair smell :-)Honestly I wasn’t expecting to like this. I figured the color would be off or they’d look fake, or be super tangly, or completely get destroyed with any kind of heat. But I was wrong. I’ve had this since April (it’s now October) and I’ve worn it about a dozen times. I’ve done straight, wavy, and curly. I simply do not have a bad thing to say about them! They’ve held up beautifully! The color matches very well (this is light blonde highlighted golden blonde). I’m ordering my second one today because my hair has grown and I’d like to get a 14” over the 12” that I currently have. I was not solicited in any way for this review, this is my honest and unpaid opinion.So I've purchased from them twice now and I really don't get all of the bad reviews because... it's been 3 years since my last halo from this company and I'm only buying another because I wanted something longer (20in).I have used high heat on these and they've never ever melted any hair or anything.The clips are amazing and don't make me feel like they're ripping my hair out.This halo isn't like the more expensive ones that are just so freaking heavy. The hair on this one isn't thin at all (see pics) but I can't even tell that it's on!I always trim it a bit and blend with some shears but it looks great even without it.There's no smell and the color match is pristine.The only thing I WILL say is that you HAVE to use texture spray for curls otherwise you have crunchy stuck together curls that makes the halo hair look out of place/not as full. Curl hair, spray, leave to cool and very lightly brush it out and this is what you'll get (pics). Posted natural hair length for reference. My hair is now considered thin from post partum.I got the 14”. My natural hair is really thin and I’ve lost a lot of volume, so I was looking for something subtle I could wear- you can see in the pics it really fills out my hair. I was able to heat style these (at 180 with my wave crimper) without issue. The piece feels really secure, the string is well concealed, they were easy to put in and take out! I’m now considering a longer set for when I want something a little more dramatic. The texture on these is nice and they blended well with my natural hair!I have ordered all kinds of halo hair extensions, from clip ins to halos, including ash blonde all the way to black. I have been consistent on buying halos from Amazon, and I have purchased serval from a different company with the same price range. I have also purchased the big time expensive extensions from Glan Seamless for upwards of $400. All I can say is WOW. These extensions are the best quality, softest hair and better than any extensions I have purchased from Amazon. I will 100% recommend buying these as someone who wears extensions almost daily and purchases a lot. Not only is the hair soft, but I used 350° curling iron to curl it and it curled beautifully with no burning or melting of the hair. The color match was perfect too. Lastly, the clips and fish wire halo part are secure as well. I know this won’t come off all night. So happy with this purchase and would 100% recommend!!The hair itself is beautiful , soft, and blended perfect with my natural hair colors. Over all the hair was great. I rated them 4 stars because my hair only came with 1 clip so I could not even use it until I bought more clips and it was missing all but one accessorie. I reached out to the company to see if they could send me the missing parts and no one ever responded. Other then not getting products that I paid for and no response from the company, the hair is good quality.Ok so it matches my hair perfectly and it’s super soft! I wish it extended to the sides of my head a lil more just so it looked more even all around. However it blends well so can’t complain too much!Honestly I can’t say enough how much I love this. My stress level has been doing a number on my hair the last couple of years. This will give me my confidence back while it fills back in. I highly recommend. It blends right in and it even looks great in a ponytail or a braid.
