These are fantastic. I haven’t used a claw clip like this in at least 15 years. I’m 32 now and as a soon to be mom, these were calling to me. I have about shoulder blade length hair that’s straight/wavy and thick as in lots of strands not particularly thick strands (a hairdresser once told me) and these work as great as I’d expect. I can fold my ponytail on itself and the clip keeps it where I intend. Also love the matte colors and soft feel of the velvet-esque plastic material. No complaints.This is the first time a clip has actually stayed in my hair holding it all up! I can shake my head and it's still in place. I've gotten other clips that are "jumbo" for "thick" hair and yet, my hair never lasted more than 10 seconds in then because the clip never stayed or held it all up. If my hair was any thicker, it probably wouldn't work but these are perfect!!!I wear these every single day. My hair is down to my middle back and is medium thickness. These clips hold wonderfully. If you have shorter hair, i would probably go with a smaller sized clip. These do hold super long and thick/heavy hair, though, without weighing your scalp down and giving you a headache. These don’t close as tight as a metal clip, but imo they’re still a great buyThese are great clips.. I like the matte look of them. They don’t look cheap, they hold my long hair with no problem. I have thrown one in my bag and it didn’t break. With 4 girls in my house, I will definitely be back for more.I have very fine but THICK long hair. These are great clips! Feel really nice and high quality and actually hold my hair! Win win! Def will purchase again if I ever need more.I spent the same amount of money for 1 clip at Ulta that I broke. To be fair I've broken every clip I've ever owned. So far these are holding up. Not a single broken claw. I'm impressed. Also they do keep my hair in place much better than the clips I've purchased at the store. I also like that they have a matte finish.Most comfortable so far. I have spent so much money on clips past 5 yrs trying to find comfortable clips. These are it. I'm very surprised because when I took them out of box and opened clip with my hands, I thought they were going to give me headaches. But surprisingly they are perfect. They hold my hair and I slept though the night with clip in and did not hurt my head. Shocking. Because most all of them do.I ordered these clips thinking it was going to be 4 rectangular ones and 4 regular ones as featured in the photo but instead I received all 8 regular claw clips. I would have just bought the 4 of them if I had known that is what I would be getting. They also had some scratches on the edges so the painted neutral color has little chips in the paint. I am still giving 4 stars because I do like them and they are well made, it is unfortunate that maybe the packaging aspect was off that day.
